Possibly our biggest project of 2024 — comprehensive scaffolding for this landmark Newport building.
Newport Library was described by the team as "possibly the biggest project of the year" in 2024. This landmark city-centre building required comprehensive scaffolding access for renovation and maintenance works, presenting complex logistical challenges in a busy urban location.
The scaffolding had to be designed and erected around the library building while maintaining public safety and pedestrian access on the busy surrounding streets. Method statements and traffic management plans were developed in coordination with Newport City Council to minimise disruption.
This was a high-profile project that demonstrated Trust Scaffolding's capability for large-scale commercial scaffolding in urban environments. The successful completion strengthened our relationship with Newport City Council and our growing presence in the Newport area.
Our work in Newport also includes scaffolding for 16 residential properties in Caerleon for Newport City Housing, showing our ability to deliver both landmark commercial projects and multi-property housing contracts in the same area.
