High-security clearance scaffolding project at Cardiff Airport.
Cardiff Airport was one of Trust Scaffolding's earliest high-profile commercial projects, first undertaken in 2017. The project required scaffold access for infrastructure works at the airport, involving a level of security clearance and compliance that set it apart from standard commercial scaffolding contracts.
All scaffolders working on the airport project required individual security vetting, and the work had to comply with aviation safety regulations in addition to standard construction health and safety requirements. Materials and vehicles entering the airport perimeter were subject to security checks.
The project demonstrated that even as a relatively young company, Trust Scaffolding could meet the stringent requirements of working in secure, regulated environments. The extensive paperwork, security protocols, and compliance documentation were handled professionally, earning positive feedback from the airport management team.
Since this initial project, Trust Scaffolding has continued to expand its portfolio of high-compliance commercial projects, including hospitals, schools during term time, and other sensitive occupied buildings where standard construction practices need to be adapted.
