Our Accreditations
Independently verified safety and quality standards
Why Accreditations Matter
Scaffolding accreditations provide independent, third-party verification that a company meets recognised standards for safety, competence, and quality — they represent real audits, real assessments, and real accountability.
When you hire a scaffolding company, you are trusting them with the safety of everyone who works on, under, or around the scaffold. Accreditations provide independent, third-party verification that a company meets recognised standards for safety, competence, and quality. They are not just badges on a website — they represent real audits, real assessments, and real accountability.
Trust Scaffolding holds accreditations from every major relevant body in the scaffolding and construction safety industry. Here is what each one means and why it matters to you.
FASET
Fall Arrest Safety Equipment TrainingFASET is the UK trade association for height safety and the prevention of falls. Trust Scaffolding is the first company in Wales to achieve FASET accreditation for platform decking (T-Deck installation). This means our T-Deck installers have completed rigorous manufacturer-approved training, our work procedures are regularly audited, and every installation meets the highest industry standards for fall prevention.
SMAS
Safety Management Advisory ServicesSMAS is an independent health and safety assessment scheme for contractors. Achieving SMAS accreditation requires demonstrating robust health and safety management systems, policies, and practices. Trust Scaffolding has held SMAS accreditation continuously for over seven years — a sustained track record that proves our commitment to workplace safety is not a one-off achievement but embedded in how we operate.
CHAS
Contractors Health and Safety Assessment SchemeCHAS is one of the UK largest and most recognised health and safety pre-qualification schemes. CHAS accreditation verifies that our health and safety policies, procedures, and practices meet an independently assessed standard. Many principal contractors and public sector organisations require CHAS accreditation as a minimum requirement for their supply chain.
